WWE Mae Young Classic 2018 Winner, WWE NXT UK Women's Champion

Toni Storm was already well established within the British women’s wrestling scene on her arrival in the Bombshells, she’d had numerous title reigns in Australia prior to arrival in the UK and it wasn’t long after that Storm would also add the Progress Wrestling Women’s Champion to her impressive list of accomplishments.

On her arrival she had earned a title shot at the then reigning Bombshell’s champion Lana Austin, putting in an impressive performance at the BWE Voltage show at the now defunct Control nightclub in Leeds in front of a capacity crowd.

In fact her success all over the UK and abroad made it difficult to secure Storm to more dates. Given Storm’s performances in her limited time with the Bombshell’s it surprised few when she was named in the WWE Mae Young Classic 2018, though it certainly made more people sit up and take notice when she won the tournament. Storm followed this up by capturing the WWE NXT UK Women’s Championship and in a very short time with WWE has shown the potential to go much further there, and we wouldn’t be surprised if some of the women on the main roster weren’t already watching their backs!

WWE.com says of Storm:

Storm has a style and swagger clearly inspired by the ’80s Los Angeles metal scene, but her ring game is unmistakably ’90s Japan
